In the World Music arena, Todd is a rare and highly specialized guitarist. Blending the highest aspects of raga music with the highest aspects of jazz guitar, Mosby has evolved new and innovative finger, pick and chordal techniques for the Imratguitar. This instrument was designed for him by his Guruji and world renown sitar innovator Imrat Khan.

As an honored member of the Imdad Khani Gharana and senior disciple of Ustadt Imrat Khan, Mosby Indian Music reflects the traditions and musical philosophies brought forth by this great family of Indian musicians. As a well studied Jazz Artist hailing from Berklee College of Music, Todd is able to blend Eastern and Western music culture in a way which is accessible to both audiences. Performing on both the electric and acoustic Imratgitar, Mosby uses these instruments as a bridge between two huge musical oceans of music creating a very engaging musical experience.

When a person enters a Mosby Indian Concert, they are greeted with a warm welcome and taken on a musical journey filled with magical moments from the Classical Indian and Jazz traditions. The listener is placed in a world of sound which is ancient while remaining contemporary. Each tune sounds different and feels different. With ancient rags rooted in a great musical heritage, the full range of tempo, emotion and technique are explored and unfold for the listener's enjoyment. The sound is pleasing to the ears of western audiences as well as Classical North Indian audiences.

Catchy compositions start as devotional slow movement alaps and move into medium tempo, playful rhythms and end with high energy burns. Insightful commentary about the ragas and music is accompanied by virtuosic performances.
